River Castle, Ever More an Apparition, Further Crumbles

Last Saturday night, parts of a tower and a wall of Bannerman’s Castle fell to the ground, spurring concern over how to stop the deterioration of the century-old Hudson River landmark.

Pilot in Crash May Have Misheard Tower

A recording indicated that the pilot of a plane that collided with a helicopter over the Hudson River read back an incorrect radio frequency for air traffic control in Newark.
